Scheduling FAQs

How Do Your Scheduling Notifications Work?

Annual Programs
  1. Mowing Notifications: We set the upcoming weekly schedule at the end of each week, and then we send out an email notification with your estimated next mowing service date (usually Saturday/Sunday). Once your mowing service is completed you'll also receive an email confirmation notice.
  2. Cleanup and Landscaping Maintenance Visit Notifications: 1-2 weeks before the service you'll receive an email notification with your estimated service date. Then you can use the client portal to view the status of your job/s up until the service date. Once the visit is completed another email notification is sent.
  3. Lawn Fertilizer Program Visit Notifications: 1-2 weeks before the service you'll receive an email notification with your estimated service date. Then you can use the client portal to view the status of your job/s up until the service date. Once the visit is completed another email notification is sent.
NOTE: Please know that if your weekly service is delayed we'll be there as soon as possible, with the goal being to complete ALL jobs scheduled by the end of the week (including Saturday and Sunday).

One Time Services
  1. Once your order is processed we'll send you two separate emails. The first is essentially your receipt for the order. The second email will include your expected upcoming service date so that you can plan for our arrival. NOTE: The second email is usually received within 24-48 business hours of signup.

Can You Schedule My Mowing Service For The Same Day Each Week?

  1. Unfortunately we cannot promise a set day of the week for your recurring mowing service. Since the service is outdoors we're constantly dealing with weather delays that usually cause at least one rainout/delay per week. When this happens we have to shift and adjust the entire route in hopes of completing it entirely by the end of the week/weekend.
  2. Another reason why we can't promise a set day per week is that it wouldn't work logistically because of how our schedules are routed. Each route is optimized weekly so that we travel the least distance possible from job to job, beginning at our shop location in Sterling, VA. If we don't optimize our routes we'd be forced to raise pricing drastically to account for the increased drive time in between jobs.
  3. It's our goal to keep all lawns on a recurring schedule that will keep the lawns looking A Cut Above throughout the entire mowing season.

How Do I Add Job Notes/Photos For Upcoming Services?

  1. If you have any job notes or photos that you'd like the crew to view before starting your job please reply to your pre-service email notification with them and we'll add them to your upcoming job notes. Our crews use an app to manage their jobs and they look for notes & photos before starting each service. Please try and give us notes & photos at least 24 hours before your service date so that we can have time to get them to your crew.
